About My Practice
I have a small herbal practice here in San Diego. Since I was trained in an herbal clinic I have set up my own apothecary, which contains many fresh herbs and herbs that I have tinctured myself. I know where these herbs have been grown and how they have been cultivated. This is very important in order for them to be fresh and effective.

My goal as an herbal practitioner is to treat each person I see as an individual. In other words, one person’s lung condition may look like someone else’s but may need to be treated in an entirely different way. There are many facets to an individual and each person needs to be addressed as unique. Therefore, I set up a consultation and do a thorough evaluation. Often times the condition a person comes in to see me for is only a small part of the picture.

The interview allows us to go into depth and possibly bring up other factors that may not have seemed important before. This way I can formulate tinctures, teas, etc. specifically for YOU.

I generally do not work with plants in the allopathic way. In other words, just because a plant is known to be good for headaches, does not necessarily mean I am going to suggest you use it. Again, there is a whole picture to take into consideration. Certainly, if there is an acute situation going on I may address it with something that may help in the moment. But overall, I want to address your challenges in the long term- to help you to heal yourself completely.

There is also the consideration of plant ‘energy’. Sometimes I intuit that a certain plant will be good for you even if that plant isn’t specifically for a specific condition. Whatever plants I use, they are all safe and can do no harm. I mostly work with mild western herbs that are safe and effective.

Normally, there will be an initial one hour consultation in person- I will not do evaluations/suggestions over the phone. Afterwards, if you agree, I will formulate some remedies for you that you can usually pick up the next day. I will also most likely have nutritional suggestions to go along with your program.

Fees

Initial Consultation: *$50
Follow-up Consultations: $25
Tinctures: $6 per ounce
Teas: $2 per ounce

Checks and cash accepted.  No credit cards, sorry.
